Success Stories
This is Ate Annalyn, a woman farmer. Three years after joining BAMBUHAY she has been able to build her home, purchased a tricycle as livelihood for her husband and is already out of poverty.
Before joining BAMBUHAY, Ate Analyn lived in poverty earning below 3,000 pesos monthly from farming. And, not able to graduate from high school.

This is Ate Edna, a Person with Disability (deaf and mute), victim of sexual abused as well as a solo parent. She is one of the People with Disabilities hit hard by the COVID-19, but still keep fighting and remain hopeful that her source of income in BAMBUHAY will continue amidst the pandemic.

Mylene Mo-Oy is an Igorot woman, and a solo parent of 4 children. One of which is experiencing muscular dystrophy. She had been working as a gardener, and her family was living below the poverty line. Mylene felt helpless and did not know how she was meant to keep her family afloat with the onset of the pandemic.
BAMBUHAY, through UNDP Philippines “Innovation Challenge: TAWID COVID19 and DTI Nueva Ecija DTI Central Luzon” partnership, Mylene was provided a sustainable livelihood, and is now earning enough to sustain the needs of her family.
She now actively plays a role in being a restorer of the planet.
